In August, Prototype was proud to play host to guests at Saturday InDesign.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday night, our showroom hosted a preview launch of the latest from European furniture houses Emu, Pedrali, Paged and MoreContract. Guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed Italian inspired canapés while chatting with our international representatives about the new ranges to hit this spring.
SATURDAY
Breakfast treats and a feature Project installation by the creative team at Design Clarity started the day on a high. Inside, guests tested the wide range of Prototype Commercial Furniture on display.
A big crowd pleaser was the new FRIDA chair from Pedrali. Designed by Odoardo Fioravanti, the Frida chair was entered into the Design Hall of Fame in July, 2011. It also won ADI’s 22nd Compasso d’Oro award in the Design for Living category.
Lunchtime saw guests treated to Arancini and Meatballs while testing out our latest Australian made range;The Craftsman. Popular for its robust, durable design, The Craftsman is made from a recycled teak and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Wrapping up the day, our showroom treated guests to a well deserved wine after a long weekend, with MoreContract’s range offering a comfortable seat for those who had been walking all day!
